ARMAGH MAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
A man was convicted at Armagh Magistrate’s Court today for claiming benefit he was not entitled to.
Gavin Ryan (25) of Drumbreda Gardens, Armagh had wrongfully cashed benefit cheques to the value of £142.00. He was fined £300.00 and will also have to repay the money he received to the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 91 the number of convictions secured so far this year by the Social Security Agency in its campaign against benefit fraud.
