ANTRIM MAN FINED £1,100 FOR BENEFIT FRAUD
A man was convicted at Antrim Magistrates’ Court today for obtaining benefits to which he was not entitled.
James Dynes (46) of Hillside, Dublin Road, Antrim was fined £1,100 for claiming Job Seeker’s Allowance of £2,882 while failing to disclose his savings. Mr Dynes has repaid in full the money he received from the Social Security Agency.
This brings to 74 the number of convictions secured so far this year by the Social Security Agency in its campaign against benefit fraud.
