LISNASKEA MAN CONVICTED OF £3,698 BENEFIT FRAUD
A man was convicted at Enniskillen Magistrates' Court today for failing to declare savings whilst claiming Jobseekers Allowance.
Thomas Tierney (63), of Moorlough, was convicted for claiming £3,698 fraudulently. He was fined a total of £400 on four separate charges. He has already repaid the money he falsely obtained to the Social Security Agency.
There were 257 successful prosecutions by the Agency in 2006.
