CARRICKFERGUS WOMAN CONVICTED OF £5,246 BENEFIT FRAUD
A woman was convicted at Belfast Magistrates' Court yesterday for obtaining Income Support fraudulently.
Diane Topping (42), of Whinfield Walk, was convicted for falsely obtaining £5,246. She was given two years conditional discharge and ordered to pay £31 costs. She is also required to repay the money she received to the Social Security Agency.
This is the 241st successful prosecution by the Social Security Agency so far this year.
