DUNGANNON MAN GETS COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR BENEFIT FRAUD

A man was convicted at Dungannon Magistrates' Court yesterday for obtaining Income Support, Housing Benefit and Incapacity Benefit whilst working.

Paul Pantry (42), of Castle Gardens, was convicted for falsely obtaining £3,070 between May and October 2002. He was sentenced to 150 hours of Community Service. He is also required to repay the money he fraudulently received to the Social Security Agency.

This is the 238th successful prosecution by the Social Security Agency so far this year.
