BELFAST BENEFIT FRAUDSTER CONVICTED
A woman was convicted at Belfast Magistrates' Court today for not declaring savings whilst claiming Income Support.
Margaret Gibb (56), of Ramore Park, Finaghy was convicted for falsely obtaining £4,568 from September 2003 to June 2004. She was given a six month sentence suspended for three years. She is also required to repay the money she received to the Social Security Agency.
This is the 217th successful prosecution by the Social Security Agency so far this year.
