CRAIGAVON WOMAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
A woman was convicted at Laganside Magistrates' Court today for obtaining Income Support fraudulently.
Joeleen McMahon (26), of Moyraverty Meadows, was convicted for falsely obtaining £152 in December 2005. She was given a £100 fine and ordered to pay £22 court charges. She is also required to repay the money she received to the Social Security Agency.
This is the 215th successful prosecution by the Social Security Agency so far this year.
