Craigavon Woman Convicted Of Benefit Fraud

CRAIGAVON WOMAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
A woman was convicted at Laganside Magistrates' Court today for obtaining Income Support fraudulently.
Joeleen McMahon (26), of Moyraverty Meadows, was convicted for falsely obtaining Ł152 in December 2005. She was given a Ł100 fine and ordered to pay Ł22 court charges. She is also required to repay the money she received to the Social Security Agency.
This is the 215th successful prosecution by the Social Security Agency so far this year.
