CRAIGAVON MAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
A man was convicted at Craigavon Magistrates' Court today for obtaining benefits to which he was not entitled.
Brendan Mullally (37) of Meadowbrook, Craigavon, was given 80 hours community service for wrongfully cashing Social Fund cheques to the value of £400.
Mr Mullally has to repay the money he received to the Social Security Agency.
This conviction is the 163rd secured by the Social Security Agency this year in its campaign against benefit fraud.
