ARMAGH MAN FINED £400 FOR BENEFIT FRAUD
A man was fined £400 at Armagh Magistrates Court today for eight counts of benefit fraud.
Simon Dalzell (32) of Ratarnet Road, Collone, Armagh, was found guilty of benefit fraud as he had claimed £7,073 in Income Support despite having savings that he had not declared to the Social Security Agency. He was fined a total of £400 for the offences which were committed between November 1999 and September 2003. He must also repay the money he received to the SSA.
This conviction is the 65th secured by the Social Security Agency since the beginning of 2006.
