POSTAL DISPUTE AND BENEFIT PAYMENTS ADVICE
The Social Security Agency today issued advice to customers whose benefit payments may be affected by the postal dispute.
Anyone who normally receives their payment by cheque through the post and is having difficulty should contact their local Jobs and Benefits or Social Security Office where staff can make special arrangements.
Most benefit recipients in Northern Ireland (94%) are unaffected by the postal dispute as their payments are made directly into a bank or Post Office account.
