DROMORE WOMAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
A Dromore woman was convicted at Banbridge Magistrate's Court today for obtaining benefits to which she was not entitled.
Margaret Coulter (57), of Circular Road was fined Ł180 after being found guilty of wrongfully claiming and receiving Income Support and Housing Benefit to the value of Ł2161, without having declared her savings. The offences occurred between December 2001 and October 2004.
Mrs Coulter has to repay the money she received to the Social Security Agency.
