DROMORE WOMAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
A Dromore woman was convicted at Banbridge Magistrate's Court today for obtaining benefits to which she was not entitled.
Margaret Coulter (57), of Circular Road was fined £180 after being found guilty of wrongfully claiming and receiving Income Support and Housing Benefit to the value of £2161, without having declared her savings. The offences occurred between December 2001 and October 2004.
Mrs Coulter has to repay the money she received to the Social Security Agency.
