CRAIGAVON MAN FINED FOR BENEFIT FRAUD
A man was fined today at Craigavon Courthouse for benefit fraud.
Bernard McComb (46), of Moyraverty Court, Craigavon, was found guilty of claiming Income Support and Housing Benefit totalling £3,321 whilst working between April 2004 and October 2004. He was fined £600 for four offences and has to pay £40 court costs. He also has to repay the money he received to the Social Security Agency.
This successful conviction brings the total number of convictions secured by the Social Security Agency to 189 since January 2005.
