BELFAST MAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
John McKay (59), of Iris Street in Belfast was convicted of falsely claiming Income Support totalling £3,034 at Belfast Magistrate's Court on Tuesday September 27.
He had claimed the benefit without declaring that he had savings over the prescribed limit, was fined £300 and will be required to repay the overpayment.
