NEWTOWNABBEY MAN CONVICTED OF £17,374 BENEFIT FRAUD
John Blaney (53), of Green End, Newtownabbey, was convicted of benefit fraud at Belfast Magistrates' Court on Tuesday September 13.
Mr Blaney had claimed Income Support Benefit totalling £17,374 to which he was not entitled because he had undeclared capital. He was fined £150 and costs and has repaid the overpayment.
