KILREA MAN CONVICTED OF BENEFIT FRAUD
A Kilrea man who falsely obtained £3,454 in benefits while he was living with a partner has appeared at Coleraine court on Friday 1st July 2005.
Robert McIntyre, of Larchfield, Kilrea, admitted the offence and was fined £300. He will be required to pay back the overpayment to the Social Security Agency.
The prosecution is the latest in a series taken by the Social Security Agency in its drive to reduce benefit fraud.
