LISBURN BENEFIT CHEAT CONVICTED
Lisburn woman, Anne Cunningham, was recently charged for fraudulently receiving benefits.
Mrs Cunningham (46) of Tirowen Drive, Lisburn was charged with working whilst claiming housing benefit.
She received a £250 fine and Magistrate Connor ordered her to pay court costs.
Her husband, Desmond Cunningham (53) of the same address, has also recently been convicted because he did not declare his partner’s wages.
These are two of the latest of a series of prosecutions brought by the Social Security Agency in its drive to clamp down on benefit fraud
