MAJORITY OF SOCIAL SECURITY OFFICES REMAIN OPEN

Some customers of the Social Security Agency may experience disruption of services today, due to Industrial Action taken by the Northern Ireland Public Service Alliance.

Anyone seeking advice and support during the industrial action should contact directly their local Social Security or Jobs & Benefits Office.

JobSeeker’s Allowance customers do not need to sign on for benefit today and will receive their payments as normal.

In an emergency, people can also contact their local Social Services Office.

The Social Security Agency would like to re-assure customers that normal opening hours are in place and most offices are open as usual.
