ROADWORKS UPDATE ON M2
Roads Service would like to remind the public about traffic management changes that will take place this week due to works on the M2.
The southbound off-slip to Antrim Hospital at Junction 7 on the M2 will be closed for three days from Thursday 15 February to Saturday 17 February inclusive.
The Bush Road will also be closed from the top of the southbound off-slip to the Hospital Roundabout.
Emergency vehicular access to the Hospital via the off-slip and the Bush Road will be maintained at all times.
These closures are necessary to facilitate works to the slip roads and roundabouts that are being constructed at this junction. Motorists travelling southbound on the M2 wishing to access the Antrim Area Hospital are advised to either leave at the previous Junction 1 Dunsilly or continue on to the following Junction 6 Rathbeg. There shall be diversion signage to the Hospital from both of these junctions. Local diversions shall also be in place for the Bush Road closures.
Traffic travelling north on the M2 and wishing to access the hospital will not be affected.
