WESTLINK UPDATE

Drivers should be aware that there will be a number of changes to the layout of Broadway Roundabout this weekend.

The roundabout will revert to a layout similar to its original form. Drivers should always approach roadworks with care and follow the signs for their destination. Regular users should also take particular care when approaching the new layout until they become familiar with the changes.

Traffic coming from Glenmachan St / Donegall Rd who wish to go to the Park Centre, Royal Hospital or to join Westlink going north should travel straight across the roundabout as they did previously.

The Link Road between Donegall Road Roundabout and Broadway Roundabout will reopen again. Donegall Road / Park Centre traffic should use this Link Road to access Broadway Roundabout and vice-versa.

M1 countrybound lanes shall be realigned closer to the citybound carriageway. These changes are to facilitate the continuation of the culvert construction and the commencement of piling works in this area.

The new layout shall be set up on Saturday night and be operational for Sunday morning 29 October.

In order to set up the layout, the M1 shall be closed in both directions between Broadway and Stockman's Lane from 10pm on Saturday night until 11am on Sunday morning.
