DEPARTMENT FOR REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT STATEMENT

A Department for Regional Development spokesperson said:

"The introduction of the Government's water reform, including domestic charges, remains scheduled for 1 April 2007. The Parliamentary debates have been put back to allow time for the outcome of the judicial review hearing. "
