WEEKEND ROAD CLOSURES AT BOUCHER ROAD

Major roadworks are currently underway on Boucher Road, between Tate's Avenue and Apollo Road. It will be essential to close this section of Boucher Road, to southbound traffic, in order to complete the final surfacing operation on this scheme.

The details of the closure are as follows:

Boucher Road (southbound) - from Tate's Avenue to Apollo Road, will be closed to southbound traffic, from 19:00 on Saturday 5 February 2005, to 12:00 on Sunday 6 February 2005.

A diversion route, via Tate's Avenue, Lisburn Road and Stockmans Lane, will be signed for southbound traffic. One lane will remain in operation for northbound traffic.

Information signs will be in place at each end of the scheme to advise motorists.

The closure initially planned for the weekend of 29 and 30 January 2005, is no longer required. However, lane restrictions will be in place during this period and will remain in operation at off-peak traffic times, until mid February 2005.

This closure and lane restrictions will depend on weather conditions and could be subject to change.
