BEWARE OF BOGUS CALLERS

DRD Water Service is warning householders of bogus callers who are claiming to be Water Service employees and pretending to arrange appointments to test the water. Recently, there have been a number of instances where these individuals have been contacting residents in the Bangor area by telephone, attempting to ascertain when the householder would be in.

It is not normal for Water Service to make contact with the customer by telephone this way. Any customer who is concerned about calls, should contact the Water Services Customer line on 08457 440088 who will be able to confirm whether the call is legitimate.
