ENNISKILLEN SEWERAGE SCHEME UPDATE
As part of the Water Service £2.9 million scheme to upgrade the sewerage network within the Enniskillen area, work will be starting on Queen Street, on 27 September.
A Water Service spokesperson said: "The work will take place from the Police Station to the roundabout at the end on Queen Elizabeth Road and is due for completion by November. The scheme will then progress onto Queen Elizabeth Road and pipes will be laid from the roundabout to the end of Nugents Entry. Work on Queen Elizabeth Road will be suspended for two weeks preceding Christmas and will be completed by February 2005.
"Pipelaying is currently taking place on the access road to the Lakeland Forum, which will be complete this week, and will be followed by pipelaying in the Road Service Castle Park car park and the construction of storage tanks and a pumping station.
"Water Service has carefully programmed the work to minimise disruption and the public can contact Water Service on 08457 440088 with any queries."
