CHARGES INTRODUCED TO TWO ROADS SERVICE CAR PARKS

DRD Roads Service has announced that car parks at Castle Street and Clifton Road, Bangor, shall operate as Pay and Display fee-paying car parks from 8am on Monday 28 January.

The charges will apply from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. The following charges will apply:

A spokesperson for DRD Roads Service said: "It is hoped that the introduction of charges will ensure the good management of these Roads Service car parks by discouraging all day parkers, and therefore keeping available the most convenient spaces for shoppers and other visitors. This aims to help the vitality and viability of Bangor town centre."
