COOKSTOWN MAN FINED £1,500 FOR WASTE OFFENCES
David Allen of Killycurragh Road, Cookstown was fined at Dungannon Magistrates' Court yesterday for breaches of waste management legislation.
On 16 November 2005, Environment and Heritage Service officers inspected land belonging to Mr Allen situated at Corby Road outside Cookstown, where waste had been dumped without a licence for the site.
Mr Allen pleaded guilty to three charges and was fined £500 for each offence with court costs of £49.

Mr Allen pleaded guilty to two charges of knowingly permitting the deposit of controlled waste and one of keeping controlled waste on his land without a waste management licence under the Waste and Contaminated Land (Northern Ireland) Order 1997.
