BELFAST LICENSING OFFICE ON THE MOVE

DVLNI has announced that the Belfast Vehicle Licensing office is on the move from Queen Street to the new Gasworks site.

The agency, which has been in the present office at Royston House for 25 years, will close its doors for the last time at 4.00 pm on Thursday 6 January.

The new premises are at 1 Cromac Avenue, on the new gasworks site, Ormeau Road, Belfast, and will be open for business from noon on Monday 10 January 2005. The telephone number remains the same: 028 9054 2042.

A spokesperson said: "I would remind the public that they can also tax their vehicles at a number of post offices close to the city centre, including Castle Place, Bedford Street, Shaftesbury Square and Yorkgate.

"We have a full list of post offices offering relicensing facilities available on our website at www.dvlni.gov.uk or these can be obtained by telephoning the Post Office helpline number on 08457 223344."
