SUMMER FUN FOR EVERYONE AT CASTLE ARCHDALE COUNTRY PARK
It's that time of the year again. Schools have been out for a few weeks, and parents are running out of bright ideas to keep the children amused and out of mischief. The DOE's Environment and Heritage Service have the ideal solution at Fermanagh's Castle Archdale Country Park.
Environment & Heritage Service have organized a series of free events in the idyllic setting of Castle Archdale Country Park where there is something for all ages. Of course, for reasons of safety, all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Ian Braud, Warden at Castle Archdale Country Park, said 'Everyone is welcome to these events. If you can't make it on these special event days you can still visit the Country Park and stroll around the paths using the self-guided trail, which can be picked up at the Visitors Centre.'
Amber Turnbull, EHS Environmental Educator, explains, 'Some of these events are designed specifically for younger age groups, ensuring that all the family can enjoy the history and wildlife of the Country Park.'
